One of a number of paintings in a large mural by Lewis Parker created for and painted
directly onto the walls of The National Museum of Man. The artwork, which will soon will
seen in its entirely on this web site, depicted the evolutionary history of humankind. When
the Canadian Museum of Civilization was built, the original National Museum of Man was
demolished, and, sadly, all of the art work, including the above, was destroyed. The painting
above, and others to follow, are what remains of the art work. Gerald Lazare was Lewis
Parker's partner in this project.
